I’d like to tell you about another fun hike near Vancouver; Dam Mountain! This one is really easy to access with public transport. Dam Mountain is the next mountain along from Grouse Mountain, in the wintertime you can hike up with snowshoes (it is called the Snowshoe Grind.) I have found my new favourite view of Vancouver! It is the best place to see views of the buildings in downtown aaaand all the mountains at the same time. Evans Peak is a steep hike in Golden Ears Provincial Park that might give you jelly legs but you’ll be rewarded with pretty fabulous views. Last Sunday we decided to take a bus to Jericho beach and walk all along the beaches on the Spanish banks to Acadia beach, Tower beach and around to Wreck beach. The entire walk was only about 13km so it was a relaxing stroll, moving slowly further away from central Vancouver.
