East Ridge Summit (via Cavell Meadows) – Jasper

East Ridge Summit (via Cavell Meadows) – Jasper

I flipping LOVED this trail. East Ridge Summit is the name of the peak just above the top viewpoint in Cavell Meadows. Cavell Meadows trail – Jasper

Cavell Meadows trail – Jasper

Wowza. The hike up to and around Cavell Meadows is simply incredible! It is easily one of the best easy-ish hikes near Jasper in the Canadian Rockies. While you visit, you’ll also be able to see the long string of Bridal Veil Falls which drops down the mountain on the opposite side of the valley. You can visit Panther Falls and Bridal Veil…

So it is a good option to prepare legs for bigger hikes, for newbie backpackers, or as a family friendly adventure. We visited Glacier Lake as a quick day hike on a rainy, misty day. We expected to be rained on the entire time,…
