I’d like to introduce another section of the Capital Ring walk that goes all the way around London, through parks, playing fields and canals. The walk starts in Highgate, and winds its way over to the beautiful Abney Park Cemetery in stoke Newington. I have LOVED walking along the North Downs way so far! This walk from Oxted to Otford does have a few sections close to roads, (not as much as the previous section!) but it makes up for that with some other lovely parts through the Surrey and Kent countryside. The third section of the North Downs way is my favourite walk so far! It Begins in Dorking with a steep climb up to Box Hill, before following the ridge all the way to Merstham.
