Redstreak Campground is a pretty camping area at the Southern end of Kootenay National Park (Canada), near Radium Hot Springs and Sinclair Canyon. It is a pretty large campground with good facilities and it’s location means it is normally warmer that the campgrounds further into the rocky mountains. Marble Canyon Campground is a fabulous location to go car camping in Kootenay National Park. The campsites are best for car camping in tents (they are a little small for most RVs.) Each site is surrounded by trees so it feels cozy and private. There are oodles of incredible hikes nearby if you want to stretch your legs. If you want to go hiking near Jasper, one of the most fun (and cost effective) ways to stay in the area is to go camping. There are several possible places to camp close to Jasper town, but the one we chose was Wapiti Campground. Opal Hills is a green oasis in the middle of the Canadian Rockies near Maligne Lake. This is not a long hike but the trail is steep!
