Capital Ring – Section 9: Greenford to South Kenton

We walked this section of the Capital ring on the same day as the previous section, but I liked this half of the walk quite a lot more. The part around Greenford is not particularly picturesque. However as soon as you get back onto the canal, the route becomes pretty again! There are a few hills from Greenford up to Horsenden Hill and then again up to Harrow. Capital Ring – Section 7: Richmond Bridge to Osterley Lock

This part of the Capital Ring meanders from Richmond Bridge to Osterley Lock, mostly along the Thames and the Union Canal. I loved this section of the capital ring, mostly because so much of it was completely new to me! It is a really nice area to wander around that I didn’t know anything about!
