Capital Ring – Section 12: Highgate to Stoke Newington (along the Parkland Walk)

Capital Ring – Section 12: Highgate to Stoke Newington (along the Parkland Walk)

I’d like to introduce another section of the Capital Ring walk that goes all the way around London, through parks, playing fields and canals. The walk starts in Highgate, and winds its way over to the beautiful Abney Park Cemetery in stoke Newington. Capital Ring – Section 11: Hendon to Highgate

Capital Ring – Section 11: Hendon to Highgate

I feel a little bad about posting this walk, as I still can’t find most of my photos. The ones I have are from a very grey day, so the walk looks far less lovely than it actually is! Unfortunately, I have managed to lose some of my photos from last year *sob* I might be able to get them back when I borrow a friends macbook charger, but for now,…

Capital Ring – Section 8: Osterley Lock to Greenford

Capital Ring – Section 8: Osterley Lock to Greenford

This is another really pleasant section of the Capital Ring walk that loops around London. This part is just under 9km long, from Osterley Lock (near Boston Manor station) to Greenford. This part is not very difficult, although it can get a little muddy in a few places. Most of this walk follows the meandering path along the banks of the River Brent, so this is one section where I don’t think it is possible to lost. The start of…
