Bear Mountain Loop – Mission

Bear Mountain Loop – Mission

Bear Mountain is an area just North of Mission, BC (Canada) which is mainly used by mountain bikers. Cheakamus Canyon – Squamish Hikes

Cheakamus Canyon – Squamish Hikes

I loved how varied the possible routes were! We snowshoed through wetlands, pretty forests to Olympic…

Snowshoeing to Alexander Falls

Snowshoeing to Alexander Falls

Alexander Falls is one of the (many) fabulous waterfalls along the Sea to Sky Highway from Vancouver to Whistler, Canada. We have visited before in the summertime, but I was keen to explore the snowshoe trail that allows you to get right up close to this waterfall. The trail is short, easy-ish and would be great for kids. Just be aware, you do need to buy a ticket (from either Callaghan Country or Whistler Olympic Park). Whistler is having a…
