Bear Mountain is an area just North of Mission, BC (Canada) which is mainly used by mountain bikers. Cheakamus Canyon is one of those rare, unicorn-like hikes that is pretty easy, not particularly busy and has incredible views. We did this as an out and back hike, but you could arrange a shuttle to halve the distance leaving a friend’s car at one end of the trail. Alexander Falls is one of the (many) fabulous waterfalls along the Sea to Sky Highway from Vancouver to Whistler, Canada. We have visited before in the summertime, but I was keen to explore the snowshoe trail that allows you to get right up close to this waterfall.
