Alexander Falls is one of the (many) fabulous waterfalls along the Sea to Sky Highway from Vancouver to Whistler, Canada. We have visited before in the summertime, but I was keen to explore the snowshoe trail that allows you to get right up close to this waterfall. The hike to Crooked Falls is short and sweet, so it’s great when you fancy a quick-ish adventure on soggy days. The Giant Cedars Boardwalk Trail is right by the main road from Revelstoke to Banff. It would be easy to drive straight past (we did the first two times!) But if you stop to stretch your legs, you get to visit an amazing grove of giant old-growth cedar trees.
