This part of the Capital Ring meanders from Richmond Bridge to Osterley Lock, mostly along the Thames and the Union Canal. Capital Ring – Section 6: Wimbledon Park to Richmond Bridge

This is probably the most famous section of the Capital ring starting in Wimbledon and walking over to Richmond. The route is almost entirely within gorgeous parks with lovely views of greenery, deers and the boats on the river Thames. I’ve walked along this route previously (although I did not know it was part of the capital ring…) and I noticed that we saw far more walkers than the other sections!!
