Capital Ring – Section 9: Greenford to South Kenton

Capital Ring – Section 9: Greenford to South Kenton

We walked this section of the Capital ring on the same day as the previous section, but I liked this half of the walk quite a lot more. The part around Greenford is not particularly picturesque. However as soon as you get back onto the canal, the route becomes pretty again! There are a few hills from Greenford up to Horsenden Hill and then again up to Harrow. Capital Ring – Section 8: Osterley Lock to Greenford

Capital Ring – Section 8: Osterley Lock to Greenford

This is another really pleasant section of the Capital Ring walk that loops around London. This part is just under 9km long, from Osterley Lock (near Boston Manor station) to Greenford. Capital Ring – Section 6: Wimbledon Park to Richmond Bridge

Capital Ring – Section 6: Wimbledon Park to Richmond Bridge

This is probably the most famous section of the Capital ring starting in Wimbledon and walking over to Richmond. The route is almost entirely within gorgeous parks with lovely views of greenery, deers and the boats on the river Thames. I’ve walked along this route previously (although I did not know it was part of the capital ring…) and I noticed that we saw far more walkers than the other sections!! This walk is 7 miles (11.3km) long, so it…
