Lower Stein Valley to Loop Camp

The Lower Stein Valley is a 26km trail alongside the Stein River. It does have some elevation gains and losses, but this lower section is not particularly strenuous. The first campground, Loop Camp is less than 2km along the trail, so great for beginner backpackers.
